June 3, 2007, 1:47 a.m.The amazing thing about the car Brake-Pad is that, despite its high speed abilities, ordinary drivers can handle it.
Unlike its counterparts --such as the Corvette C6 Coupe with a six-liter, 404-horsepower engine, and the Jaguar XKâ;;the 911 Turbo's backend does not dovetail even when accelerated from standstill to full tilt with the wheels locked sideways.
The tires may lose traction when taking wide turns but only for a split second or two seconds at most.
Porsche has also put a lot of engineering into the electronic traction-control system. The 911's traction control is mainly managed by its all-wheel-drive system with a multiple-plate clutch.
