Gov't forgot to change Gas Guzzler tax - WHOOPS! »
Posted by: JohnNeff 1 year, 4 months agoThe EPA is still using the 1991 tax schedule and gas guzzler calculation method, despite the EPA's new formula for calculating fuel mileage that's more realistic and thus results in lower MPG ratings across the board. This means the same car that skirted the gas guzzler tax last year could be penalized in 2008, despite the face nothing's changed.
