Posted By JohnNeff 1 year, 3 months ago in StyleLand Rover may donate money or the use of its vehicles to aid disaster relief efforts as a result of this marketing campaign, but that bad taste in our mouth comes from the fact that it likely wouldn't do those things if a camera weren't there to capture it.

I can't remember if it was Land Rover or some other all terrain vehicle in the mid 1980s that showed the it intentionally narrowly missing running over a coiled rattlesnake, and frightening other desert animals. The line was "[car Name], the DOMINANT SPECIES."
This newest mis-step is typical.
They really don't know how to sell cars do they?
