Why is Running a Car on Water a Scam? Simply because this technology does NOT exist! In fact, any company that states you can run your automobile exclusively on water is not only deceiving you, but in fact setting you up to ruin your car. Adding water to your gas tank can and does have harmful effects, which is why it should never be done.
